What to reply to the chairman: “Your personal objective”?
Director, where do you see yourself in two years? Here or elsewhere?
The situation
In Shadow Director, a football sporting director game, the chairman gets in touch. The game offers three ways to reply, or you can write your own. You have a few days: with no answer the message is ignored, with consequences.
What is at stake
Depending on your reply, you can move: Board trust, Reputation, Stress. There is no universal right answer: the difficulty level, the club’s situation and a share of the unexpected change what follows.
What would you reply?
Open the game, pick a club and run into this situation. The replies are not explained in advance: you be the judge.
