Division 1 · Elite
The top of the pyramid. Budget is almost never the problem here: board trust and stated ambition make the difference. The top three of the league qualify for the Champions’ League, 4th and 5th for the Continental Cup, 6th and 7th for the Horizons Cup: a good season is also measured in European bonuses.

Money and stadium
Elite clubs play in a 32,000-seat stadium with a reference ticket of €35. Full, it brings in about €1.1M per home match. The wage cap is €2.3M per month, for an actual starting payroll of €1.2M to €1.4M.
You play in a big stadium with a high reference ticket price, and every signing weighs heavily on the wage bill: the cap, not the cash in the bank, is the real limit.
Promotion, relegation, cups
Top of the league: nothing above. The bottom 3 drop to Division 2. Each division has 20 clubs and 38 matchdays, plus the national cup.
