Division 4 · Regional
The bottom of the pyramid, and the game’s front door: free, with tiny budgets and small stadiums. There is no relegation here: the top three go up to Division 3, and you cannot drop any lower.

Money and stadium
Regional clubs play in a 2,000-seat stadium with a reference ticket of €7. Full, it brings in about €14,000 per home match. The wage cap is €120,000 per month, for an actual starting payroll of €58,699 to €60,304.
It is an excellent testing ground: you can make mistakes without risking the drop, and see how messages, staff and the transfer window fit together before tackling the more demanding divisions.
Promotion, relegation, cups
Top 3 go up to Division 3. No relegation is possible. Each division has 20 clubs and 38 matchdays, plus the national cup.
