A free football game, ready to play right now
Looking for a free football game that asks for no account and no install? This one opens in a click.
Really free
The base game of Shadow Director is free: divisions 3 and 4, staff, transfers and seasons. There is no account to create, no full-screen ads and no imposed session length.
Optional paid tiers exist (divisions 1 and 2, creating your club, advanced options), as one-off payments with no subscription.
A different football game
This is not a game where you shoot at goal. You are the sporting director: you reply to messages from the coach, the chairman, the press and agents, and your choices decide the season. See the free football management game.
On phone and PC
All you need is a browser. Your game is saved on your device, and an optional Google account makes it available elsewhere.
Frequently asked questions
What is the best way to start?
Pick a division 3 or 4 club, read the first messages and reply. The game explains the rest as you go.
Are there any compulsory purchases?
No, never. The paid tiers are optional.
